Plans For Skybound’s ‘Invincible’ 20 Year Anniversary Announced

Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker and Ryan Ottley’s Invincible turns twenty next year and Skybound aim to celebrate in style. And merch.

Debuting on January 22nd, 2003, Invincible ran for 15 years and 144 issues and now has its own Amazon Prime animated series too. One of its most popular animated series to date.

Robert Kirkman states:

“Wow, twenty years! I can’t believe it. Invincible is something that Cory, Ryan and I have devoted a large portion of our lives to. Now that it’s being discovered by an infinitely larger audience it’s really great to see it live on in so many different forms. It’s so gratifying to know that people will be falling in love with Invincible for years to come.”

Cory Walker added:

“I’m not one to usually get excited, but 2023 is going to be the biggest year for Invincible yet, with so many crazy and unexpected things on the way!” said Cory Walker. “I’d say Invincible fans should get ready but there’s really nothing you can do to prepare for all that awesome that’s coming.”

Ryan Ottley concluded:

To mark the occasion in January 2023, Invincible #1 is reprinted with an all-new facsimile edition. That, an a black and white Invincible Undeluxe #1 one-shot which will also include “The Cutting Room Floor,” featuring Kirkman’s original handwritten plot and commentary.

Also dropping on the same day will be the Invincible Compendium Vol.1 HC, a brand-new hardcover collecting issues #0-47 of the popular super hero comic.
