Paul Bettany To Return For A ‘Vision Quest’

Get your Ships of Theseus ready, Vision may soon return.
Deadline reports Paul Bettany is on board for a proposed Disney+ series called Vision Quest. While the writers’ room has yet to open, sources told the site the series will carry on from the events of WandaVision with The Vision (Bettany) attempting to regain Vis’s memories and attain his own humanity. Unless, of course, he is truly Vision. But that’s a Ship of Theseus puzzle only the series can answer. Additionally, Elizabeth Olsen may appear in the series as Wanda Maximoff — although, it is unclear if that would be in flashbacks or as a returned Scarlet Witch from where ever she ended up at the end of Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness.
Marvel declined to comment, but Deadline believes WandaVision head writer Jac Schaeffer will supervise the production.
Presumably, the program, should it happen, will take a slot in late Phase 5 or early Phase 6. But, of course, this is just conjecture as the project is still in the earliest stages of development.
