Ant-Man Scott Lang To Publish Autobiography ‘Look Out For The Little Guy’ — No Really!
by Erik Amaya
Although absent on screen throughout Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) has been busy milking his Avengers status and prominent place in the Battle of Earth for all it’s worth. Thanks to Ms. Marvel, we know he’s a frequent guest on various podcasts and as glimpsed in trailers for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, he constantly promotes his autobiography, Look Out for the Little Guy.
And now, the book is coming to our reality.
As seen in the video above, Rudd is fairly sure he did not write it himself. In fact, it’s currently unclear who actually wrote all 256 pages, but (per Nerdist), here’s publisher Disney Books’s description of its contents:
Lang shares with the world a bracingly honest account of his struggles and triumphs, from serving time to being a divorced dad to becoming Ant-Man and joining The Avengers. These are stories of epic battles won and lost, as this everyman turned Super Hero finally tells all—from the official account of what really happened between The Avengers and Thanos to how shrinking down to ant-size really feels to the challenges of balancing the roles of hero and dad.
Across his many adventures big and small, Scott has gathered the wisdom of countless amazing experiences into this, the first memoir from a real-life Avenger. Once you learn the unforgettable details of his epic journey, you won’t need to be reminded . . . to look out for the little guy.
The print edition is currently available for pre-order everywhere. It is unclear if an ebook version or an audiobook read by “the author” will follow — but, man, do we hope Rudd actually sits down to read it aloud from cover to cover.
Look Out for the Little Guy is scheduled for release on September 23rd.
