And although that references the second volume of the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe , with covers by John Byrne and Josef Rubenstein, my immediate thought was for the very first volume with the covers by the wonderful Ed Hannigan and Joseph Rubinstein. I was 11/12 when this came out in 1982/1983 and it was the perfect sweet spot of fandom at the time…
