After A Long Delay ‘Operation Fortune’ Finally Hits Theaters This March

Super spy Orson Fortune (Jason Statham) must track down and stop the sale of a deadly new weapons technology wielded by billionaire arms broker Greg Simmonds (Hugh Grant). Reluctantly teamed with some of the world’s best operatives (Aubrey Plaza, Cary Elwes, Bugzy Malone), Fortune and his crew recruit Hollywood’s biggest movie star, Danny Francesco (Josh Hartnett), to help them on their globe-trotting undercover mission to save the world.
The Guy Ritchie action film was originally slated to released last year but has seen a long delay. The connection to Ukrainian criminals has been removed from the current trailer so as not to be insensitive to the current war in Ukraine. It is unknown whether the entire film has been recut to delete this idea, though. In any case, fans of Ritchie’s hyper-stylized and witty crime cinema will be able to watch Operation Fortune March 3rd.
