‘Gargoyles’ #7 To Feature Demona’s Return

Dynamite’s Gargoyles series has been flying along with one character conspicuously absent: Demona. But that all chances with the seventh issue, which sees her back in a big way. “Demona brings danger and intrigue to every story she’s in,” writer and Gargoyles creat Greg Weisman said in a statement. “She’s been off the Manhattan Clan’s radar for months and months, but nothing will quite prepare them for what she has planned.” After a long absence, she returns in search of three new keys to elevate her power. But with current for Dino Dracon on the warpath and Goliath awaiting trial, it’s up to Brooklyn and the Manhattan Clan to stop Demona.

The story, by Weisman and artist George Kambadais, also provides a jumping on point for new readers while still building on the series thus far and the original Gargoyles series.

Supporting the issue are covers from talent like David Nakayama, Amanda Conner, Lucio Parrillo, Lesley “Leirix” Li, Jae Lee, and Tony Fleecs & Trish Forstner.

Gargoyles #7 hits stands in June.
