‘Kena: Bridge Of Spirits’, ‘Sackboy’ And More Join The PlayStation Plus Game Catalogue In April

by Sage Ashford

Sony PlayStation has announced the latest collection of games coming to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalogue on April 18th, available to PlayStation Plus Premium and PlayStation Plus Extra members.

PlayStation 5 titles Kena: Bridge of Spirits, Doom Eternal, Riders Republic, Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom, Bassmaster Fishing, Paradise Killer, and Sackboy: A Big Adventure are all being added to the service. Alongside those games come Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, Slay the Spire, The Evil Within, Wolfenstein: The Old Blood, Doom, Doom II, Doom 64, Doom 3, and Dishonored: Definitive Edition.

Leaving the service in May are Marvel’s Spider-Man, Resident Evil, and NBA 2K Playgrounds 2 on May 15th. What’s most interesting about this change is Marvel’s Spider-Man, a first-party game, is leaving the service. Could this potentially be a sign of rights issues surrounding Sony’s control over the Spider-Man license? Or is this Sony’s way of saying even their first-party games won’t always be available for people who own the service?
