Superlove Drops An Energetic New Album ’follow:noise’

Welcome to the table,
The River Avon in the southwest of England has a prosperous maritime history. To distinguish it from a number of other rivers of the same name, it is often called the Bristol Avon. This makes it a Bristolian river. There is a really cool bridge there called the Clifton Suspension Bridge that I have seen twice in my life when I was lucky enough to be over in Bristol and it’s still one of the coolest bridges I have ever seen.*
Why am I talking about The River Avon and a bridge you probably have never heard of and Bristol?
Well, it’s because Bristolian noise-pop three-piece Superlove has shared their highly anticipated new album follow:noise, out now from European label Rude Records.
This ten-song offering features their previous singles “GO!”, “Something Good,” and “Easier,” and is energetic and infectious as fans have come to expect.
On the new album, Superlove shares, “We’ve realised a lot over the last year since the release of our debut album. We discovered what we wanted to lean our sound more towards and to really focus in on the basic elements and fully utilise every instrument.”
follow:noise has a sound that is fun and freeing, like a cold drink on a warm night. There is a bite to it, but it’s familiar and honestly refreshing.

Alongside the new album, Superlove has shared a music video for the track “Overdrive.” On the track, lead vocalist and bassist Jacob Rice shares, “‘Overdrive’ is about how with our generation; everything has to be 100%. You go on Tik Tok and everything’s in your face all the time, and every time you’re on your phone you can’t avoid it. We are living with no plan of action, and our generation is going through it right now.
“Will I be able to ever buy a house? Will I be able to ever do the things that the older generations have done? The older generations had this plan for life, where you would get married, say your vows, buy a house, and have kids, but now everything’s so expensive. Our generation has had to loosen up a bit. If I get to own a house, that’s great, but if I don’t, I’ll make something else work.”
