The campaign, which will be on Kickstarter, aims to publish the first issue of series about a spaceship crew that encounters the remains of its sister ship and her crew. The surviving crew must figure out why the ship’s data was erased while escaping a monster they have unwittingly awoken in their own memories.![]()
Rounding out the creative team are colorist Gonzalo Duarte, letterer Bram Meehan, editor Chris Sanchez and logo designer John Bedovian. Appley drew the main cover, with variants from Shane Connery Volk and Liana Kangas. A third variant will be announced soon.

“David and I have wanted to work with each for a while now, and once we started throwing ideas around, we knew Requiem was the perfect blend of both our sensibilities,” Bogacs said.
Hazan added: ‘Requiem brings together all the things I love about marrying the science fiction and horror genres. Even more so, as soon as I saw that Philip was looking for such a project and saw his work…I knew we’re going to create an unforgettable comic book experience…not even if you’re using memory wiping technology!’
“We’re excited to bring you this first instalment and we hope (and think) that you’ll love reading it as much as we loved making it,” Appley said.
The Kickstarter campaign is scheduled to launch June 12 and conclude July 10, 2023. The campaign’s rewards will feature some limited copies of the Nottingham #1 first printing, signed by Hazan.
