Ubisoft’s ‘Star Wars Outlaws’ Offers A New Open World Adventure

During the Xbox Games Showcase, developer Massive Entertainment got to show off a first-look at Star Wars Outlaws, a new game set in the Star Wars universe. In the game, the player takes on the role of Kay Vess, a young outlaw trying to survive in a galaxy where the Empire is stronger than ever. When she suddenly finds herself on the run from the Empire, Kay’s forced to seek out the biggest score yet to try and get out of the game.
Ubisoft also presented a lengthy gameplay walkthrough at their own show. Over ten minutes long, viewers are introduced to a number of systems present in Outlaws. Viewers are shown how players can either stealth or fight their way through missions, how quests affect relationships with factions, and the existence of other star systems.
Star Wars Outlaws releases for Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, and the Ubisoft Store in 2024.
