August Brings Wolverine & Ghost Rider Into A Hellish Battle In Marvel’s Weapons Of Vengeance

Logan and Johnny Blaze are the Marvel Universe’s greatest anti-heroes. This summer, the duo are teaming up to put an end to a threat they once thought vanquished.
This August, Wolverine and Ghost Rider writer Benjamin Percy teams with superstar artist Geoff Shaw to reveal the untold tale of the duo’s first team-up in Ghost Rider/Wolverine: Weapons of Vengeance. When the evil they thought destroyed returns, they have to team up to stop the Stitcher once again. Along the way they will bring their claws and chains through the darkest corners of the Marvel Universe, including a newly revealed division of Weapon Plus that specializes in all things hellish!
LOGAN AND JOHNNY VERSUS THE “STITCHER”! All bad things must come to an end…but will Wolverine and Ghost Rider meet their untimely demise at the hands of Stitcher? And who is the mysterious Father Pike? The secret behind the demon’s birth is revealed as the fate of our heroes, and the boy who started it all, are sealed!
“Wolverine is metal. Ghost Rider is metal. Together, their adamantium and chrome weigh in as HEAVY METAL!” Percy said. “You know how Metallica and Iron Maiden have toured together, shredded out songs, wailed on music videos? This is a little like that. I write the sheet music that Geoff Shaw brings to pyrotechnic, guitar-smashing life. You’re in for a head-banging good time, I promise.”
The crossover is bookended with Alpha and Omega issues, with an issue each of Ghost Rider and Wolverine in between, starting on August 9, and running through September 6.
Percy’s Wolverine really has found its own in the last year, telling some of the best Logan stories we’ve seen in years. His Ghost Rider run has been nothing but gleeful fun in a corner of the Marvel Universe that has been neglected in the last few years. Mashing them together will be a blast for readers.
