Sci-Fi Space Horror Game ‘Fort Solis’ Hits Stores In August
by Sage Ashford
Announced at last year’s Summer Game Fest, Fallen Leaf and Black Drakkar Gamesare close to the release of their sci-fi horror title, Fort Solis. In Fort Solis, players become Jack Leary, an engineer sent to a mining facility on Mars to discover what happened to the facility’s crew.
Across four chapters, players will explore the abandoned facility, learning the truth behind what happened to all its people. In the game’s most recent FAQ, the developers describe the game as being inspired by titles like Firewatch or Supermassive Games’ Until Dawn and The Quarry. With the game featuring no combat, no stealth, and with a runtime of around 4-6 hours, it’s clear the story and atmosphere are going to be the most important elements to this title.
Fort Solis launches on PC via Steam and PlayStation 5 on August 22nd.
