Laika Studios has been godsend for lovers of stop-motion animation and tales of the macabre. If you’ve ever wondered how Laika brings puppets and sets to life in their Oscar-nominated features like Coraline and Kubo and the Two Strings, you are in luck! The Museum of Pop Culture in Seattle is hosting Laika’s biggest exhibition to date titled Hidden Worlds.
Visitors will be able to explore Laika’s mix of artistry and technology up-close with immersive set displays, never-before-seen artifacts from all the films, and interactive characters. Visiting Laika Studios has been a dream of mine, but people are only allowed in if they know someone who currently works at the studio.
