A bust week all round what with the usual pre-convention news as well as two days worth of SDCC 2023 coverage, with some of us at the show while others, like me, watch from a distance. And so we thought it wise to round up some of the more popular SDCC 2023 announcements from the past week. Enjoy!
- Erik Amaya brought us the following SDCC tidbits: First up he reported on a Venom pinball machine from Stern Pinballs.
- Ahead of the show he also posted about the guests panelists to appear on the Dynamite Disney panel this weekend.
- And, also from Dynamite, we get news of a new The Nightmare Before Christmas comic coming in 2024.
- Also coming from Dynamite will be a new Alice Cooper comic too.
- And finally, from Dynamite again, we’ll also be getting a new Garbage Pail Kids comic, Garbage Pail Kids Thrashin’ Through Time.
- Moving away from Dynamite, we also got news from DC Comics and Legendary Comics that the Justice League will be taking on King Kong and Godzilla.
- Gary Catig brought word on the resurrection of Magma Comix coming out of San Diego here.
- He also reported on Hulu’s Animayhem experience, which can be found outside of SDCC and required no con ticket. So, expect long queues I imagine.
- Finally, from Catig, we get word on Hasbro con exclusives here.
- Anton Kromoff covered the Dark Horse Comic Con exclusives here, rounding off this week’s list.
