Ratata Arts Introduces A Gameplay Trailer For ‘Ratatan’

by Sage Ashford

Just after announcing the game, developer Ratata Arts has revealed a first look at Ratatan, the spiritual successor to the cult classic rhythm game, Patapon.

While much of the game is still under wraps, for now what’s known is Ratatan makes the player a conductor of an army of little beings known as “Ratatan”.  By pressing buttons in time with the rhythm, players can give out instructions to order their Ratatan to move and fight enemies. Players will be able to build their army of Ratatan up over time, adding unique new animals that work with different instruments as weapons.

The Kickstarter for Ratatan launches July 31st, with initial plans for a release on PC, and stretch goals to get the game to consoles later.
