Boom Studios will offer a second printing of its new Buffy The Last Vampire Slayer #1 following the sellout of the issue’s initial run the distributor level.

The second printing, which will be available in stores August 30, 2023, features a new cover art by series cover artist Ario Anindito. The miniseries is written Casey Gilly, illustrated by Oriol Roig, colored by Gloria Martinelli and lettered by Ed Dukeshire.

In the miniseries, Thess is the adult daughter of Tara and Willow and has taken up the mantle as the new slayer. But with those responsibilities come new enemies and a mysterious clan that will do anything to get to her – including using her friends as bait.

“New slayer, new responsibilities, new enemies and unsurprisingly, the need for a new printing,” said Filip Sablik, Boom’s president, publishing and sales. “Casey, Oriol, Gloria and Ed continue to broaden the Buffyverse in Buffy The Last Vampire Slayer, and we are so excited for even more fans to discover their newest vampire obsession.”
