Previewing Cinebook’s September Titles: From Ancient Greece To The End Of WWII – The Best Of Euro Comics

Another month, another trio of quality Euro comic albums to come from Cinebook, who’ve been publishing English language versions of a massive range of Franco-Belgian Ninth Art since 2005, bringing the huge range and variety of Euro comics to the West.
This month, we venture back to Ancient Greece and a twist on the traditional tale of Theseus, where the Minotaur turns out to be a far more conversational and intelligent creature at the centre of the labyrinth. Then we have a WWII tale as we return to the world of Bear’s Tooth, a saga documenting the end of the war, the collapse of Nazi Germany, and the impact it has on three childhood friends. Finally, we’re back to the 1600s and the brutal world of the Cossacks that a deserter from the Polish-Lithuanian Winged Hussars now finds himself in.
As usual from Cinebook, something out of the ordinary, something different from the norm… so, time for a few covers and a bit of PR from Cinebook about these three…
