‘Tekken 8’ Gets A Release Date Trailer

The debate surrounding when Tekken 8 is coming out is finally over with the latest trailer from Bandai-Namco. For months now fans have been wondering when the game is coming out, but the trailer released at Gamescom has confirmed a 2024 release date. Specifically, the game releases January 26th, which is enough time for fighting game fans to have gotten tired of Mortal Kombat 1 and be excited for the next big game.
The trailer also showed off a number of new characters, hinted at a new kind of story mode, showed off some customization options, and showed off the ability to create one’s own avatar to explore the game world with. While the Nintendo Mii-like avatars leave much to be desired, everything else about the game looks incredible.
Tekken 8 releases for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and via PC.
