Meet Marvel’s ‘G.O.D.S.’ Dimitri — Chained Apprentice To The-Powers-That-Be

Marvel Comics’ G.O.D.S. is one of the most highly anticipated superhero stories of the autumn. In it, Jonathan Hickman and Valerio Schiti are going to introduce Marvel fans to a pantheon that we’ve just barely been given hints of. And prior to the series’ October launch, we continue to meet the heroes, villains and more at the center of it all.
Last week, we met Wyn, the protagonist of the series and the character all the promotional material has centered around. This time, we get to meet his apprentice, Dimitri.
Out October 4, G.O.D.S. promises to shift our entire perspective on the Marvel Universe’s many deities and abstract beings, such as Eternity, Infinity and the Living Tribunal.
Previously, fans got to know Wyn, Avatar of THE-POWERS-THAT-BE. Now, meet his reluctant apprentice, Dimitri. Although he follows Wyn, Dimitri’s true loyalties lie with the scientific ways of THE-NATURAL-ORDER-OF-THINGS. His partnership with Wyn represents the fragile alliance between the greater forces of the universe, but Dimitri is no mere pawn. In the pages of G.O.D.S., he’ll embark on his own quest to discover his startling history, one that will take him beyond the purview of both parties.
