Marvel Announces New York Comic Con 2023 Panels

With New York Comic Con only about a month away, Marvel has announced its panels for the October event.

From October 12-15, Marvel will discuss its upcoming Spider-Man event, promote its role-playing game and showcase its female creators.

Marvel’s panel lineup consists of:

Avengers Assemble – A This Week in Marvel Special Event: Ryan Penagos, vice president and creative executive, returns to host a can’t-miss live edition of the This Week in Marvel podcast! Just in time for the Avengers 60th anniversary, Marvel Comics Editor-in-Chief C.B. Cebulski and Executive Editor Tom Brevoort, along with writers Jed MacKay of Avengers and Al Ewing from Avengers Inc., in a deep-dive discussion on the Avengers. You’ll learn about the team’s epic conflict with the Ashen Combine, hear more about the Wasp’s new style of avenging with the mysterious Victor Shade and have the chance to receive an exclusive giveaway.

Amazing Spider-Man – Gang War: Marvel Comics Executive Spider-Editor Nick Lowe web-slings by to host a scintillating symposium on everyone’s favorite wall-crawler – and the latest mess of trouble he’s gotten himself into in the Gang War comics. A war has erupted among the gang lords of the Big Apple, and only Spidey’s hand-picked team of heroes (including Miles Morales, She-Hulk, Daredevil, Spider-Woman and Luke Cage) can stop them. Lowe, Cebulski and an array of other arachnid aficionados including Zeb Wells of Amazing Spider-Man, Erica Schultz from Daredevil: Gang War and Greg Pak from: Deadly Hands of Kung Fu: Gang War, will give the lay of the land for this crossover – and give away an exclusive.

Marvel Multiverse Role-Playing Game: The Official NYCC Live Play: On Friday the 13th, experience the Marvel Multiverse RPG like never before – as an all-star cast of Marvel guests and tabletop RPG players embark on a supernatural mission for a night of role-playing you won’t want to miss.
4:30 PM, Friday, October 13, Room 409

Marvel Fanfare with C.B. Cebulski: The editor-in-chief and his hand-picked panel has an illuminating discussion on everything and anything Marvel, complete with a Q&A session as well as a special giveaway.
1:45 PM, Saturday, October 14, Room 405

Marvel – Next Big Thing: Join Cebulski as he and some Marvel talent, including Gerry Duggan from X-Men and Uncanny Avengers, Jonathan Hickman of G.O.D.S. and Ultimate Universe and MacKay, give a behind-the-scenes look at the publisher’s biggest books while peeling back the curtain on the future of the Marvel Universe. The panel will be filled with announcements, first-looks and teases (including a special look at the biggest Marvel Comics story of 2024) – and, of course, a one-of-a-kind giveaway.
3:15 PM, Saturday, October 14, Room 405

Women of Marvel: Host Ellie Pyle, executive director of digital content, Jennifer Grunwald, director of production and special projects and some more of Marvel’s mightiest women as they share what it’s like for women working in the industry today. The group will also tease what’s next in Marvel’s slate of women-led projects. And yes, there’s a giveaway at the end.

In addition to its panels, Marvel will host events in its Booth and fans at home can experience it by watching an exclusive livestream broadcast .

The publisher will announce details of its exclusive merchandise, booth activities, signings and events in the coming weeks.
