GameStop Has New D&D Funko Pops For Preorder

I have made it a point to collect almost all of the Dungeons & Dragons Funko Pops that have been released so far. I was really bad about Funkos when they first launched. At one point, I had the first 50 or so DC comics-themed ones on display shelves including all the SDCC and NYCC exclusives and then, somewhere between moving out of the place I had with roommates and the sheer amount of them on the market, the collector side of me gave up and I put them away. I think I ended up selling them all to someone on Facebook for $30, a huge loss compared to what I spent — but when I get into the purge mode, I have to just get everything out of my space. I was fairly certain I would never collect Funko again until the D&D Funko Pops started coming out. Now here I am again, with all but the D&D movie cast, Drizzt’s boxset, and Minsc and Boo looking at the D&D Funkos in my office clicking pre-order on two new offerings before they sell out.
First up is the Gamestop Exclusive Bahamut Funko. Bahamut is known as the dragon god of justice and plays a fairly large part across The Forgotten Realms. He can travel about in various forms but his natural form is that of a platinum dragon. It is said by many that he is the only platinum dragon in existence. He is also known to be the eternal rival of his sister, Tiamat, queen of the chromatic dragons who had her Funko released last year.
As I say at the weekly game, Next Up On The Stack is a three-pack containing the lich Vecna, a Mind Flayer, and the two-headed demon lord Demogorgon. The Mind Flayer looks to have a new sculpt based on the picture, and Denogorgon has not been offered by Funko before so I am very excited for these to be delivered in November.
You can find both of these sets currently for Pre-Order on GameStop’s website. The Bahamut Funko is limited to one per household so I imagine that one will sell out rather quickly. I’m a little disappointed these new offerings do not come with a D20 but all-in-all, I think I will be happy to have them on my shelves.
