I played Mass Effect fairly religiously as it was coming out. I saved my crew time and time again. I leveled up, I collected the models of the small ships for my quarters and explored every option available across the games. Where the train stopped for me was in Mass Effect 3, when I could not save both my long-time companion Wrex and my favorite weird little scientist Mordin. If there was a way to save them both, I would have done it but not being able to do so kind of put me off the game for a good long while.
