Greg Capullo Covers Marvel’s ‘Death Of Moon Knight’

by Tony Thornley

Marc Spector’s time as Moon Knight may be coming to a close at the end of the year, but he’s going to go out in style.

In December’s Moon Knight #30, Jed MacKay and Alessandro Cappuccio will find Marc Spector meeting his end at the hands of the Black Spectre, bringing the popular volume to a close. In January, a new Moon Knight rises and the Midnight Mission endures in Vengeance of Moon Knight #1, continuing the duo’s run.

To celebrate the massive change to one of Marvel’s most enduring heroes, superstar artist Greg Capullo will be supplying variant covers for each of those massive issues. It’s one last moment in Marc’s classic costume before the new era begins.

“We’re thrilled to bring the next chapter of this saga to uneasy life as the Midnight Mission reels from a recent loss… and yet, Moon Knight still stalks the night time streets? Despite the apocalyptic events of Moon Knight #28-30, we have plenty left to tell in the story of the Moon Knight, and I’m excited for readers to join us!” MacKay said.

Check out both covers above and be sure to pick up Moon Knight and Vengeance of Moon Knight every month from Marvel Comics.
