Ack, Ack, Ack: Super7 ‘Mars Attacks’ Figures Invade Your Collection
by Anton Kromoff
Welcome to the table,
When I was a kid my parents had me convinced that aliens were everywhere. Shows like Unsolved Mystery fueled thoughts of grey and green entities from other worlds who would beam me up into disc-shaped ships and cut me open to rearrange my inside for twisted scientific purposes.
When The X-Files aired, it became a regular reminder that “The truth is out there” and it was going to poke metal bits under my skin. Then Mars Attacks hit theaters and the constant screeching barks from kids at school who saw the movie in theaters from dulled the worry of aliens a bit and somehow at the same time made me want to be taken from this world and far far away from the “Ack-ack-ackackackcakack” sounds.
If you were not a child in public school when this movie came out, you do not know the hold that horrible sound had on adolescent boys. At least the aliens looked really cool.

Until next time, I can still hear it echoing in the quiet hours… the horror… the horror! Also that weird hybrid lady’s head on a small dogs body was horrific and stuck with me for way to long.
