“Dinner Party” is easily the most awkward episode of The Office ever. It may also be one of my favorites. Granted, I have seen every episode multiple times but that pales in comparison to my wife who may have seen each episode 50-100 times or more. It’s one of those shows that — for a solid three or four years — was just on in the background while doing stuff around the house, hitting the gym, or crafting. I think she still watches through all of them a few times a year now but at one point it was daily.
The jokes, the memorable lines, the trivia … all of it cracks her up. For me, it’s mostly “Dinner Party,” Michael Scott (Steve Carell) , “Dinkin flicka”, and Threat Level Midnight.
