Super7 Digs Up Some Nostalgic Fun With New ‘Mr. Bones’ Figures

by Anton Kromoff

Welcome to the table,

Imagine that in a really bad Dracula voice, because I am about to dive into some spooky scary content. Honestly, it’s more nostalgia than anything else. Today we are going to talk about Mr. Bones.

Mr. Bones candy was easily one of the coolest things I can remember from my childhood. For less than the price of a candy bar, you got this brightly colored plastic coffin filled with candy bones that tasted like chalk if chalk thought real hard about being candy and made it through the power of manifestation alone.

The flavor was not really the enjoyable part though, you see the candy was shaped like bones and you could hook the pieces together and make little skeletons out of them. As an added bonus the coffins made great places for your G.I. Joe figures to undergo their transformation into Vampires. My G.I. Joes often became Vampires as that seemed to be the next logical leap for the forces of Cobra in their shadow war against the “Real American Heroes.”

So you can imagine my delight when Super7 launched their Mr. Bones figure, and my sadness when it was sold out before I can get one. Well, fans of classic candy, skeletons, or just fun figures are about to get a Halloween Treat complete with a plastic coffin!

This spooky season during their Boodega event, Super7 is unleashing a Mr. Boones with new Halloween colorways! This 3.75” scale, articulated Mr. Bones ReAction Figure features a unique black and orange colorway packaged in a coffin-shaped box, and comes with a tombstone accessory that will probably fit your other ReAction figures if you need them to reenact my childhood practices of creating an army of Cobra Vampires.

You can scare up some nostalgic fun with this Halloween offering while supplies last!

Until next time, MAN I LOVE THIS! ‘Tis the season’ applies to Halloween in my book, and this is ‘the season’ for some spooky scary fun if ever I saw it.
