Halloween Themed Giant Robots From Super7 Are Go!

Recently I have been watching some older shows that have finally come to streaming, and it amuses me the way you can tell what time of year the show aired by the holiday theme. When I was a kid, holiday programming was how you knew when it was okay to celebrate things. For me, that time of year when the TV title cards turned orange and black with jack-o-lanterns and bats meant that the Halloween season was soon going to be upon us.
With each passing day, candy commercials I had seen year after year would arrive, with hands decked out in painted witch nails and plastic spider rings grabbing for “fun-sized” candy started showing up more and more frequently. The chicken nugget mascots from McDonalds would dress up as mummies and vampires and talk about the seasonal plastic toy you got with your four-piece and small fry. This time of year always makes me deeply nostalgic. It’s just full of warm tidings this time of year, as I sit and remember how happy I would get to see the Halloween programming start to come to life.
While I can’t feel that way these days because everything is kind of on fire and streaming services don’t really do the whole holiday thing (not in the same way at least), it’s always cool when brands come out with something that at least leans into those holiday feels.
Super7 has delivered with two delightful little Halloween holiday offerings that legitimately had me laugh out loud when I saw them.
First up is the leader of the Autobots, the Bad Boy of Bots, the regent of “Roll Out”, Optimus Prime. The Mighty Morphin Punkin’ Rangers would be proud to call this articulated 3.75” exclusive ReAction Figure of the Megazord features unique orange and black colorways their very own.
