Marvel Introduces Weapon VIII In February’s ‘Edge Of Spider-Verse’ #1

You’ve heard of Weapon X. Now get ready for Weapon VIII.
This new weapon will make his first appearance in the first issue of Marvel’s new series, Edge of Spider-Verse, coming February 22, 2024. When Weapon X escapes from his facility, Weapon VIII is called in to bring him back in this story written by Collin Kelly and Jackson Lanzing with art by Travel Foreman.
The issue, which begins to set up the next evolution of Spider-Versal stories, will also feature the digital avatar Spider-Character, who was recently featured in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. She’s back in comics in a tale by writer Nilah Magruder and artist Eric Gapstur.
Marvel also released the Chad Hardin cover (above) for Edge of Spider-Verse #1.
