The Amazing Digital Circus is a psychological dark comedy about cute cartoon characters who hate their lives and want to leave. The series is created by Gooseworx and the team at Glitch Productions. The Amazing Digital Circus continues to push boundaries with CG production values. The show is bouncy, colorful, and lo-fi when it needs to be.
On the surface Digital Circus is reminiscent of the edutainment games popularized in the early 2000’s. Once you dive deeper into the show viewers uncover a mystery and disturbing characters worthy of Courage the Cowardly Dog. It nice to see that nightmare fuel is alive and well, and I hope to see more episodes of The Amazing Digital Circus in the future.
