Put A Little Bug In Your Ear With Mad Cave Studios’ ‘Skeeters’ This December

Mad Cave Studios has announced a forthcoming horror/sci-fi series, Skeeters, from the Ringo Award-nominated writing duo, Kevin Cuffe and Bob Frantz, featuring art by Kelly Williams, with editing and letters by Chas! Pangburn.

“Small town hijinks ensue as extraterrestrial mosquitos descend on a sleepy beach town.

When giant mosquito-like alien creatures invade a rural seaside community, a frustrated sheriff and two oddball exterminators end up being the town’s only hope for survival. A comedic and gruesome story for fans of Slither, Arachnophobia, and other classic creature-features!”

“When Bob and I started this story we knew we wanted to do a B-movie parody, but ended up making an A-plus comic, thanks to the hard work of Kelly Williams,” said Cuffe. “Kelly just slays every page while keeping things fun—gross, goopy and beautiful—like a mid-summer sunset in swampy Kankakee county.”

“Skeeters is a love letter to all the wonderfully schlocky creature features I adore,” added Frantz. “Kevin and I wrote a fun script but the magic is in Kelly’s breathtaking artwork. The gore flies off the page. It’s the perfect marriage.”
