Super7 Brings Some TMNT Saturday Morning Fun!
by Anton Kromoff
Welcome to the table,
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were such a fundamental part of my childhood that to this day I still look down the toy aisle to see if there are new figures. In truth, I am mostly looking for Usagi Yojimbo toys, but nevertheless, the TMNT figures were, are, and will always be synonymous with fun for me. The masters of making stuff fun, Super7, have TMNT offerings that will delight most collectors who grew up loving the cartoon like I did.

This latest wave of TMNT ReAction Figures is clearly inspired by the animated show from the ‘80s, the latest wave of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles ReAction Figures is going to transport you right back to those episodes where a fedora and trench coat somehow had the same power as Clark Kent’s glasses and convinced everyone that human-sized ninja turtles were just dudes in long jackets.

This wave features Rocksteady, the mutated rhino henchman of The Shredder complete with rifle and knife, a Foot Soldier with a blaster rifle accessory, The Shredder himself with katana, and Raphael in his trench coat disguise with his trademark sai. This is a really cool wave and even the packaging feels totally vintage and yet somehow modern at the same time.
Super7 always does a good job of balancing play and collectability and their TMNT ReAction figures are no exception. You can pick up this wave at the link.
Until next time, sometimes I think everyone in the TMNT world knew they were giant mutated turtles in trench coats and just did not say anything because they did not want to get involved. Some old guy just smiling and waving but in his head knowing exactly what was going on and not wanting to see what happened if he let on he was in on the whole thing.
