‘Void Rivals’ #1-5 And ‘Transformers’ #1 And #2 Get Orders For Additional Prints

Skybound, in collaboration with leading toy and game company Hasbro, announced today that the Energon Universe series’ Void Rivals (by writer/co-creator Robert Kirkman, artist/co-creator Lorenzo De Felici, colourist Matheus Lopes and letterer Rus Wooton) and Transformers (by writer/artist Daniel Warren Johnson) will get subsequent printings for every issue released so far and available in comic book shops on December 13th. That’s the same date as the release of Transformers #3. If you’re late to this phenomenon you could always treat yourself to an early Christmas present. And if you don’t celebrate the holidays, just treat yourself. It’s been a tough old year and you deserve it.
Each new printing will come with a new cover that spotlights a fan-favourite characters and their first appearances in the series. Those titles getting subsequent prints are Void Rivals #1-5 and Transformers #1 and #2.
“The new Void Rivals cover printings highlight each issue’s connection to Transformers lore, with covers depicting fan-favorite characters including Jetfire, Skuxxoid, the Quintesson Prosecutor and Shockwave. Plus, Void Rivals #5 will feature five different covers, each spotlighting a different face of the Quintesson Judge.
New Transformers covers feature Ratchet & Starscream, Soundwave, and Cliffjumper, and an ode to the epic first appearance of Duke.”
