Glimpse The New Path Peter Parker’s Life Has Taken In New ‘Ultimate Spider-Man’ Trailer

The biggest bombshell about Marvel’s new Ultimate Universe is far and away that peter Parker is married with children. Now Marvel has revealed a trailer featuring a glimpse at the new Ultimate Spider-Man.
At the end of Ultimate Invasion #1, readers saw the Maker prevent the radiated spider from biting Peter Parker. From there, Earth-6160 has diverged wildly from the Marvel Universe, and frankly the Ultimate Universe we know. Beyond that, we also know from the end of Ultimate Universe #1 that Peter’s greatest rival Norman Osborn is missing, assumed dead. In short, the entire new Ultimate Marvel Universe is in completely uncharted territory.
Coming from superstars Jonathan Hickman and Marco Checchetto, Ultimate Spider-Man will find a very different Peter Parker beginning his Spider-Man journey. We know Peter’s married with two children- Richard and May. From the newly revealed preview pages, he appears to be working at the Daily Bugle. But beyond that, readers are in completely uncharted territory, and that’s exciting for long-time Spider-Man readers.
“When we decided that we were going to do a book about an older Peter Parker becoming Spider-Man, we really wanted to lean into him starting his super hero life from a very different place than what’s traditionally expected,” Hickman explained. “Peter and MJ being married is one of many decisions we made that underline this being quite a ‘different’ kind of Spider-Man story.”
