ThunderCats are on the move.
On Friday, Dynamite released cover images and a synopsis for the second issue of ThunderCats. From writer Declan Shalvey and artist Drew Moss, the series is a new take on the 1980s TV program. The surviving ‘Cats have arrived on Third Earth, but their new home is beset with trouble. In issue #2, Lion-O attempts to contact the spirit of his predecessor, Jaga, using the Sight Beyond Sight. The experience leads to another ThunderCat who made their way to Third Earth. Elsewhere, Slythe and the Mu’Tants have discovered a pyramid where an ancient spirit of evil dwells. But are they truly prepared to face Mumm-Ra, the Ever-Living?
Also, will we get a cameo from Ma-Mutt?
Ponder that thought while taking a look at the cover gallery below, which features contributions from David Nakayama, Lucio Parrillo, Declan Shalvey, Jae Lee, Ivan Tao, and Moss.
ThunderCats #2 is due out on shelves in early 2024.
