Pocket Pair Puts ‘Palworld’ Into Early Access January 19th

After what feels like over a year of trailers, developer Pocket Pair is ready to put Palworld into early Access. Their latest trailer hypes up several aspects of the game, from many of the game’s Pals to the game’s open world and different factions. Described as an open-world survival/crafting game, Palworld has been one of the biggest question marks in gaming since it was first revealed.
Palworld is clearly inspired by a certain other video game involving monster catching, yet it also seems to be much more than that. With players having the ability to force their Pals to create homes or even build weapons factories for them, this is clearly meant to be an evolution of the monster-catching genre. Whether it achieves that lofty goal however, remains to be seen.
Palworld launches in Early Access for Xbox consoles, Steam, and the Microsoft Store on January 19th.
