I’ve been playing some Pokémon Scarlet this year as I have been trying to make more time for “fun” and get a better handle on my work-life balance. I love the Pokémon games. It’s that perfect balance of collecting stuff, fighting stuff, and waiting for random stuff to show up that makes for a perfect “pick-up-and-play” game in my book.
A few days ago I texted a friend about the new Mystery Gift you could receive and today (six minutes ago as of the time I’m writing this) Pokémon announced a new Pokémon over on YouTube. Check it out below.
Enter Pecharunt! This Pokémon makes Binding Mochi from the poison secreted from its shell. It serves the Binding Mochi to others and then uses chains to control all who eat it. It’s a pretty twisted little Poison / Ghost type.
The video above also contains a password that you can use with the Mystery Gift function in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet to download a new phone case skin. As I type this I am watching mine download so I am off to check out what that is all about.
