The Dungeons &Dragons Classic Collection A-C

Welcome to the table,

Normally in the course of my week, someone reaches out to me to ask about classic offerings from the TTRPG space. This week I was needed to help track down a Dragon Magazine that had an advanced version of Strahd in it for an epic-level campaign, find some notes on The Dust Lords from Eberon, and track down what a Medium-Size Outsider called a Kalmari was and how it fit into the larger landscape of the Forgotten Realms.

It’s always been a thing I’ve been asked to do, going back to Advanced Dungeons & Dragons and R.I.F.T.S., being that resource for all things TTRPG. Honestly, it has always filled my cup in a way I can’t explain. It’s nice to feel useful to people who actually want to learn, or seek and find, or just talk through things in the gaming space.

Speaking of Classic content, WizKids has been doing an amazing job of dropping these classically inspired D&D monster miniatures collection. These throwback terrors come in beautiful window boxes that emulate the cover of the AD&D monster manual so perfectly that they look amazing shelved next to them or displayed on their own.

The first set, covering A-C, comes with pre-painted miniatures of the Ankheg, Basilisk, Beholder, Bulette, Carrion Crawler, Chimera, Cockatrice, and Couatl, all sculpted and painted in the classic Advanced Dungeons & Dragons style that was iconic back in the early days of the hobby.

These minis pull triple duty, being sized for table play at your weekly game, styled for display on your mini shelf, and packaged to perfectly sit alongside your other gaming books and manuals.
