‘What If…? Venom!’ Reveals Symbiote Takes On Familiar Heroes

Marvel’s What If…? Often gives us new takes on popular stories. The upcoming What If…? Venom! breaks that mold and shows us five different tales of very different Venom universes.
Years ago, an angry and betrayed symbiote found Eddie Brock at his lowest point and bonded with him to become Venom. In February’s new miniseries, writer Jeremy Holt and artist Jesus Hervas ask what if the symbiote found others- Wolverine, Doctor Strange, She-Hulk, Moon Knight and Loki!
“Having the opportunity to play within the Venom sandbox is cool. Having the opportunity to bond five iconic heroes to the alien parasite is cooler,” Holt said. “In doing so within the What If…? concept, I’ve had an absolute blast crafting a linear revisionist history that’s provided me the latitude to introduce distinct versions of the anti-hero that we’ve all come to love.”
To get us all excited for the debut of the series, Marvel has revealed character design sheets, cover images and review pages from issue #1, in which Venom possesses She-Hulk!
What If…? Venom! debuts on February 28th from Marvel Comics.
