Dev Patel Directs And Stars in Action Thriller ‘Monkey Man’

Produced by Jordan Peele and Directed by Dev Patel, Monkey Man is an action thriller about one man’s quest for vengeance against the corrupt leaders who murdered his mother and continue to systemically victimize the poor and powerless. The film takes elements from the legend of Hanuman to create a form of modern mythology. India is no stranger to epic action cinema, so it will be interesting to see Patel pulling form his roots and applying his personal vision to a revenge quest.
Monkey Man arrives in theaters Theaters April 5.
