by Olly MacNamee
As part the recently announced partnership with Aethon Books, Vault Comics will adapt author and Aethon CEO Rhett C. Talking about this new project, Vault CEO Damian Wassel said,
“We rarely publish work in the superhero genre at Vault. When we do, we look for something that redefines what you can expect from a superhero book, and pushes the limits of the genre. The Roach does both. We’re extremely excited to work with Rhett and Kurt Yaeger to bring this superhero story back home to comics.”
Rhett Bruno added:
“The Roach was a passion project for me more than any other. I couldn’t be more excited to see what the Vault team does with Reese’s unlikely story of redemption.”
To help maintain authenticity, Vault and Bruno will be working and advised by actor, writer, director, disability advocate, and professional athlete, Kurt Yaeger
Meanwhile, The Roach is currently under option and in development as an episodic series with Sony Television.
