Marvel And Star Wars Bring ‘Ahsoka’ To Comics This Summer
by Tony Thornley
Since her debut, Ahsoka Tano has become one of the lynchpins of the entire Star Wars saga. This summer, she comes to comics for the first time.
After the debut of her popular Disney+ series, Marvel Comics is bringing an adaptation of the series to fans. The series will come from the creatives behind the popular adaptations of The Mandalorian- writer Rodney Barnes, and artists Steven Cumming and Georges Jeanty.
Star Wars: Ahsoka sees the former Jedi on the trail of Grand Admiral Thrawn alongside her allies from Star Wars Rebels. Along the way, she’ll unlock secrets of the Force, and face enemies unlike any other she has before.

“It is truly an honor to be adapting Ahsoka,” Barnes told StarWars.com. “The character is the essence of classic Star Wars: layered, complex and fun! I hope the fans enjoy this adaptation as much as the series it’s adapted from.”
“We’re big fans here at Marvel, and we’ve been wanting to do something with Ahsoka for a long time,” Editor Mark Paniccia shared. “By the Force our dream finally came true!”
