Thought Bubble 2024 Dates Announced

Returning to Harrogate Convention Centre, this year’s Thought Bubble comic convention will take place over Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th November 2024, with the usual mix of comic book creators, self-publishing/indie comic creators and plenty of panels. It’s one of the best (maybe even THE best) comic convention of the year. But, as always, do book your rooms early to save disappointment. I’ve just booked mine and almost choked on the price hikes already added. I’m in the very same hotel but now paying £60 more! Seems the cost of living crisis is a burden only something us poorer people must shoulder.

But, I digress.

Here’s some statistic for anyone interested in such things:

• Thought Bubble enjoyed a 28% increase in attendance from 2022 to 2023, beating 2019 sales for the first time since the pandemic as the event goes from strength to strength with over 500 comic-creating exhibitors, 30 comics focused panels and workshops, and thousands of visitors.

• The Thought Bubble Festival will return this year with a mix of free and ticketed events taking place around Leeds and Yorkshire from 11th – 17th November, including film screenings, public art, workshops, talks and much more.

Tickets fare on sale now (under 12s, carers and over 65s tickets can get in for free) and with the dates now announced it can’t be too long until we hear about a first wave of guests to be announced. So, keep ’em peeled and pop by from time to time to keep up to date on all the Thought Bubble news and announcements over the coming months.
