‘Rise Of The Ronin’ Introduces The ‘Behind The Scenes’ Series

Koei-Tecmo has revealed a series of “Behind the Scenes” videos meant to introduce and set up the world of their upcoming open-world game, Rise of the Ronin.
The first episode sets up the basic premise of the world, introducing both some of the key characters and the setting. It also shows some of the location scouting Koei-Tecmo did to make the game feel as accurate as possible to Bakumatsu-era Japan. There’s brief interviews with both film director Keishi Otomo (Rurouni Kenshin live-action films) and composer Inon Zur, alongside other key members of Koei-Tecmo’s staff.
Eight minutes long, this is easily the best look at the game fans have been given thus far. The next trailer, entitled “Fight”, will seemingly focus on the combat side of the game.
Rise of the Ronin launches for PlayStation 5 on March 22nd.
