Webcomic Weekly: Boulet’s Having A Moment In ‘E-Conomy’

Hey, welcome to another Webcomic Weekly, the rather mis-named regular feature where I take a look at something rather great online. But although it’s rarely weekly, I’m sticking with it. Anyway, another brilliant webcomic from Boulet, having a little difficulty with ordering online…

Boulet, if you don’t know (and if you don’t, oh boy, you really should), is an online comic pioneer and a damn fine comic artist. Boulet is the pen name of Gilles Rousel, a French comic artist/cartoonist who jumped online way back in 2004 to publish his work. Since then, he’s exploded in Euro comics, producing many different (and great) comics over the years, including taking over Dungeon Zenith from Lewis Trondheim. His online work has been published in a series of print volumes, Notes — some of which you can get in English.

But you absolutely MUST be following his work online, it’s been required reading right from the off, so many different styles, different ideas, wonderful variety of stuff online.

I did a whole Webcomic Weekly on Boulet’s online presence back here. But this new one really did strike a chord for all of us who’ve suffered the new thing online of two-factor authentication and the like… just perfect for these modern times…
