Marvel Celebrates A Pop Culture Juggernaut With ‘X-Men ’97’ Action Figure Variant Covers

The X-Men made a massive impact on pop culture through the 1990s, starting with X-Men #1, continuing with X-Men The Animated Series, and culminating with 2000’s X-Men feature film. Marvel’s mutants were a juggernaut, and with X-Men ‘97 continuing the classic animated series next month on Disney+, it’s a juggernaut worth celebrating with new variant covers.

Featured on five issues from the X-Men line of comics across the month of March, Marvel’s action figure variants celebrate the legacy of the franchise in many ways. It features some of the most iconic characters in comics history in this Marvel Legends form, it celebrates the massive toy line that accompanied the pop culture phenomenon, and it showcases just a few hints as to what readers can expect from the new animated series. 

The line includes covers featuring Cyclops, Wolverine, Rogue, Magneto and the Goblyn Queen in their action figure form and X-Men ‘97 design.
