‘Marvel Contest of Champions’ Reveals Summoner’s Choice Champion Vote Winner

Marvel Contest of Champions is receiving new combatants, and they seem a formidable pair. Prepare to welcome Deathless King Groot and Shathra to the contest.
Deathless King Groot is from an alternate timeline than the gentle giant we’re familiar with. This Groot is more like an evil twin who didn’t have the warmth of the Guardians of the Galaxy to keep him on the path for good. In order to add this character to your roster, you will need to collect 5x Deathless King Groot pieces by finishing specific in-game tasks. You better work fast because the pieces are only available for a limited time. Groot isn’t the only Deathless Champion challenger so keep an eye out to the game’s social media to discover who is next.
The other new addition is the winner of the annual Summoner’s Choice Champion Vote. There were eight selections to choose from, and capturing over half of the vote is Shathra. She won 52.5% of all votes. Unfortunately, she isn’t playable yet and will enter The Contest later this year.
Players can also expect new features including the Winter of Woe challenge, Lunar New Year, and Valentine’s Day quests and more.
