Baby Assassins was a charming hidden gem and a bold example of New Wave Action cinema. The macabre humor, slick fight choreography, and genuine heart made the film stand out. Baby Assassins 2 appears to have leveled-up the strengths of the first film. Saori Izawa has the “je ne sais quoi” that makes her compelling to watch and I believe she could become the next great action heroine.
After the agency suspends its top assassins, aspiring hitmen decide to eliminate them—leading to a lightning-fast showdown between trained killers.
Baby Assassins 2 will be available on Digital and Blu-ray April 2, 2024.
