Jumping On — Series Premieres, One-Shots, And New Story Arcs Kicking Off On February 28, 2024

One of the most frustrating things about finding new comics to read and enjoy is finding a good jumping on point. It can be confusing and disheartening to pick up a single issue from the middle of an arc without having the context of the previous chapters.

A heavy metal guitarist in mid 70s Chicago can’t get any traction with his songs about wizards, elves, and magic. He’ll soon get a chance to try his luck with the real things. High stakes action and adventure set to a heavy metal soundtrack, with pulp sci-fi and fantasy thrown in for good measure. 

Spider-Punk: Arms Race #1, Marvel

You demanded more Hobie. Marvel heard. Hobie returns to try to rebuild society. Justin hammer and Doc Ock have other plans, like introducing the world to Spider-Slaying Sentinels. Grab your boots, your instruments, your amps and LET’S GO!

A new story arc kicks off as Maika and her allies return, weakened and altered, to a Known World upended by war. From the relative safety of the Wave Empress’s domain, they’ll reunite with old friends and face the new challenges of a status quo they never expected.
