M.A.R.S. Attacks: Skybound Present A First Look At ‘Duke #4

Skybound/Image Comics, and Hasbro, have revealed new interior pages and variant covers for the forthcoming Duke #4 from writer Joshua Williamson (Superman, Dark Ride), artist Tom Reilly (The Thing) and colourist Jordie Bellaire (W0rldtr33). This issue is promising to bring back, M.A.R.S., known in the G.I. Joe universe – and now the Energon shared universe – as the Military Armaments Research Syndicate. A shady industrial complex that sells arms to all sides in any war over the years including Cobra! And owned by one James McCullen, otherwise known as Destro. But, what will this new take on an old enemy look like and what, if anything, is Destro’s links to this company?
Duke is close to discovering the truth about the alien robots that have landed on Earth. But who—or what—is M.A.R.S.?
