Lucio Fulci And Canadian Horror Lead Severin’s March Lineup Of 4K UHD Premieres

Cult movie purveyors Severin have unveiled their March lineup which includes four cult films making their 4K Ultra High Definition debuts. It’s March Madness, Severin-style (i.e.: fewer basketballs and more stab wounds, giant gators, and demonic dolls).
Butcher Baker Nightmare Maker
Unhinged crime thriller Butcher Baker Nightmare Maker stars Jimmy McNichol, Susan Tyrrell, Bo Svenson, and a young Bill Paxton. The film is presented for the first time ever in UHD, scanned in 4K from the original camera negative with 6 hours special features spread across the 4K disc and the Blu-ray, including three audio commentaries, featurettes, interview, trailers, reversible artwork, and a limited slip cover.
The Great Alligator
Director Sergio Martino‘s (All the Colors of the Dark) Italian monster mash is also making its UHD debut. The package is swamped with extras, including featurettes, interview, trailers, reversible artwork, and a limited slip cover.
Cathy’s Curse
1977’s Canadian cult possession oddity contains both the director’s original cut and the R-Rated US version, both showcased in UHD for the first time. The 4k/Blu-ray set comes with featurettes, interview, trailers, and reversible artwork. Also keep an eye out for the limited edition webstore exclusive slipcase with glowing LED eyes. Spooky!
The Devil’s Honey
Director Lucio Fulci (The Beyond, Zombie) brings his inimitable style to this sleazy erotic thriller starring Brett Halsey, Corinne Cléry, and Blanca Marsillach. Previously available only on Blu-ray, now all the depravity can finally be seen in UHD. Extras include the requisite docs, interviews, and trailers, plus an alternate opening.
The Church
Also making its UHD debut (but only in a standard edition) is writer/producer Dario Argento and director Michele Soavi’s The Church, featuring three hours of bonus features.
